100 dollar bet on craps come

The only casinos I’ve ever been to that didn’t pay the dealers 2 to 1 were the two Seneca casinos (Niagara Falls and Allegany) in upstate NY, which instead paid them $1 for each hit. Between that and the fact that the 6/8 obviously just hit pretty often in general, I think it’s a great way to tip them and I don’t know why more people don’t do it. So it ends up being an edge for the dealers. Obviously this is much better than both the normal 7 to 6 payout for a 6/8 place bet, and it’s even better than the true 6 to 5 odds. This means they get paid 2 to 1 on a 6 or 8. At almost every casino I’ve ever been to- all the Atlantic City ones for sure, plus Foxwoods and a few others- the dealers pay themselves $2 when this hits. It seems like most people in that situation prefer to do two-way bets on the hardways and/or horn numbers, and I’ll do that once in a blue moon if I’m actually playing them (rarely, only when I’m up quite a bit already).īut generally, I prefer to place the 6 & 8 for the dealers, and here’s why: something I’m not sure many craps players know about is how these bets get paid. Pretty simple question here- if you prefer to tip by “betting for the boys” (rather than just hand ins) how do you personally choose to do so?Īs a pretty low roller, I only bet for them in $2 increments usually (unless I’m way up obviously).
