Casinos in Sikkim are regulated under the Sikkim Casinos (Control and Tax) Act, 2002 (“ Sikkim Casino Act”). In Goa, Daman and Diu, casinos are regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (“ Goa Act”). The state of Sikkim in the north-east of India, and the state of Goa in the west and the union territory of Daman and Diu in the west regulate casino games in land-based form through state-specific laws.
